X-LEISURE

The X-Leisure Softball Team struck a homerun last week and brought the Cup home, following a thrilling match against Fladgate Fielder.   We returned to Regents Park for the Annual Summer Softball game against our good friends, both teams enduring the great, wet British weather, but enjoying a fantastic match.

The first innings resulted in a clear X-Leisure lead - we were ahead 9 to 4. In the second innings Fladgate homed in on us with three catches on the first three hits .....   after this the score reached 9-7.  By the end of the third innings X-Leisure had powered through with that winning spirit,  to bring home the cup with a final score of 15-12.

A big thank you to Fladgate for hosting this terrific evening and for providing refreshments and a whole lot of fun.  We’re all  looking forward to the challenge again next year in 2013!
