X-LEISURE

With the prospect of long summer days now upon us, it was inevitable that the call would soon come through! The annual softball challenge from FSI Law took place this week, and despite being severely handicapped by a player ratio of 2:1, our X-Leisure spartans took a solid victory against the infamous FSI Law team!

We took the trophy after gaining a lead in the first of 3 innings, which we managed to sustain to the end, leaving with an admirable lead of 35-32 runs. The FSI team also gracefully awarded the man of the match award to our Chief Accountant Clive Bass, who sacrificed his own safety for the cause on several occasions, leaving the park with a scraped knee!
